On the Rebound

We are finally cooling down here at HH HQ – it’s supposed to dip from the 100s to the 90s, then the 80s for a while. Fall preview! We are sure ready for it.

Fall always brings a lot of emotions and activities. Football, Halloween, Thanksgiving, chilly nights and mornings. Watching kids get all excited about picking pumpkins or what they are going to dress up for Halloween brings us back to a simpler, younger time.

Even though you can’t exactly relive your youth, it is wonderful to stay youthful and tap into your childlike wonder. Doing things you did as a kid, like throw a football, skip or jump can bring you right back to that innocent fun.

Dr. Hunter has recently gotten into her own form of jumping – on her mini-trampoline (or rebounder). She loves it not just for the fun, but the amazing workout it provides. She talks about it on this week’s podcast and even has a mini-trampoline fitness expert to chime in on it!

On this week’s podcast, Dr. Hunter interviews Lindsay Bushman of Pilates On Demand. They jump into the world of the mini-trampoline (or rebounder) and it’s fitness and health benefits. Lindsay also shares her journey to becoming a fitness coach, and how she teaches her clients to be active with her creative workouts. She stresses the importance of taking care of the whole person, including physical, mental and emotional aspects.
